A drawing I did from a live model at the annual Gage Art Academy Drawing Jam last Saturday. 12 hours of drawing... it was amazing.
Serious joint pain afterwards, but it was really worth it.
This is approximately a five-minute sketch. Since it was a gesture drawing session, the models only held their poses for 2 to 8 minutes.
I was absolutely fascinated by his mask and the varying values under the spotlight... anyone know where I can get one for cheap?

Comic Sketches
Some quick sketches I did for the comic book my friends are making. The cousins, and Reporter Guy with the Fedora as requested.
Since I had no reference photos yet, none of the characters look much like the models.
And never mind that Lisa's jacket buttons on the wrong side. And that Kevin's mouth looks like it might slide off his face.

Cinderella Program Cover Art
It's finally finished! It's the one of the posters for my high school production of Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella.
I started out with a pencil sketch, then inked it and colored it with colored pencils. One of my classmates smoothed it over digitally for me, thank you Scarlett!
It was used for the cover of the program.
